Struggling as always 悩む悩む
I'm not kikokushijo (the children of Japanese expatriates who take part of their education outside of Japan) and I'm not even educated in English-speaking country (Hong Kong is not really English-speaking city).
While there are tons of these kinds of people with high English (or other foreign languages) skills, I'm nothing...
Finding a journalist job is highly competitive and my friend who got a job at a Japanese print media said it was like winning a lottery. I know I love to write and I'm very sensitive to social and cultural issues. I'm also opinionated. But that's not good enough...
It's just so tough to get a job in media that I sometimes think maybe I should give up. At the same time, I don't want to give up on not giving up... I just didn't image I would be struggling so much in life when I was 20 before leaving for France. I'm making lots and lots of mistakes but I need to go on.
